Why Are People Mocking “spread The Wealth” As Something Bad And Evil?
Do these mockers not believe that fundamental fairness of the system so thawt it is not tilted always and all the time towards the filthy rich big corporations and away from the middle class?
Why should the system and the polticians and the govt all be in the pocket of the few to the detriment of the many who work even harder than them.
Why should the average CEO of a typical major corporation make more than 500 times as much as the average workers pay?
Do you know that maybe just 40 years ago, the average CEO only made about 25 times what the average worker made? This is not about some sort of communism or even socialism…its about fairness and true capitalism that is not propted up by fraud, corruption and monopolies.
When I say spread the wealth, I am saying I want capitalism that true capitalism…where the market is really free but also regulated to preven abuse, and where workers are important just like management is importan..everyone is important and the country and whats good for it is of utmost importance.

I think it should be “earn the wealth.”
“Spread the wealth” would be more aptly described as communism.

This is not about some sort of communism or even socialism.
What you are describing is all of the above. Life is not fair, the
constitution does not give you a right to fairness. You also do not have the right to a car, a cell phone, health insurance or anything like that.
You do have the right and the opportunity to get out and work your butt off and earn those things.

Reminds me of when Pat Robertson moved in to a new three million dollar
house on the grounds of CBN about 20 years ago. His explanation was
that the board of Directors wanted him to live there.
That was mostly a non profit corp., but I think it made him into a
billionaire.

it’s called economic redistribution, one of the major tenets of communism/socialism.
Why should I work hard to earn my living and then have to give a large chunk of it to someone who is not working?

Because they have been duped to believe that socialism is evil. The Republicans and their wealthy base have done a very good job over the years in demonizing “socialism” and “liberalism.” However, both in reality are quite noble.
Capitialism is based on greed and inequality. However, it is a finite system. It implodes when the people on the bottom are no longer able or willing to feed the people on the top, which is just what has happened recently. They had reached the limit on wealth. So, they created derivatives and financial instruments that essentially traded air back and forth. IOW, there was no intrinsic value to support these derivatives. Ultimately, when they require cash payment, there is no cash to pay other than the support from the government — so far, $1 Trillion, which means that the people continue to support the greed of capitalism (reverse socialism).
Nonetheless, the average person in the US does not realize this. They therefore repeat what they hear and all they have heard all their lives is that socialism is evil even though they have never stopped to analyze the concept.
Free enterprise exists within a socialistic society. The main difference between socialism and capitalism is that in socialism, a person earns more from his productivity. In fact the definition of capitalism is one who capitalizes from the productivity of others. Slavery is capitalism.
LEARN what socialism is. USE YOUR OWN HEAD or else someone else will use it for you.
