Obamas Spread The Wealth Policy,is This How It Will Work?
CHANGES IN THE WORKPLACE
You small business owners out there are preparing for life under a Barack Obama presidency. One of our listeners sent us some new rules for small businesses based on Obama’s ideals of change and fairness:
As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama officially becomes president-elect, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:
1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are under-achieving a “fair shake”.
2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst you. This will help those who are “too busy for overtime” to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.
3. All top management will now be referred to as “the government.” We will not participate in this “pooling” experience because the law doesn’t apply to us.
4. The “government” will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging its workers to continue to work hard “for the good of all”.
5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it’s “good to spread the wealth around”. Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more “patriotic”.
6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don’t feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he’ll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can’t pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn’t all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?)!!!
If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.

If it will make you feel better, yes that’s how it will work (sarcasm)
You have deliberately misinterpreted what he wants to achieve

Capitalism is where a man goes out and works for his money or sits on his rear and makes no money and/or collects welfare. Communism is where a man works for a living and makes the same money as everyone else, regardless of the job type. Obama’s Socialism calls for the people who make more money to have to give money to the people who don’t make a lot of money (some of the latter being those who refuse to go out and make money because the government is ALREADY taking care of them…they believe though, that the government OWES them so it’s ok…).
Does this sound like Obama is leaning toward Communism or is it called something else???
I’m not rich. I’m not young. I just came off unemployment. But I’m not gonna sit here on my rear and TRY to collect welfare and food stamps. I’m going out looking for a job. When I find it, I’m not gonna feel too good about people digging in my pocket to get what they THINK I owe them. Capitolism works when some of us aren’t out to get even with the others that they believe owes them something….Wake up people, it’s getting real…

Yes, this is about it.What I am wondering is the “poor” that can work,is it going to be made mandatory that they get jobs,I thought it would be great if they could help out also. There would be more money for spreading the wealth….and I think everyone needs to do their fair share…lets not leave anyone that can work out.

No, that’s not how it will work. No one has proposed anything that even remotely resembles the situation you describe.
Obama is proposing a return to tax rates that existed during the Clinton administration. These rates are still considerably lower than they were during even the Reagan administration.
It is easy to make someone’s ideas look bad when you change them all around before arguing against them.
